WORLD CITIES SUMMIT (WCS) – ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW DATES IN 2022
World Cities Summit moves to 31 July – 3 August 2022
The upcoming 8th edition of the World Cities Summit (WCS) in Singapore will take place from 31st July to 3rd August 2022, at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands .
WCS is a global platform for government and city leaders, academics and industry experts to share innovative solutions and forge new partnerships to make our cities more liveable, sustainable and resilient against current and future disruptions. Jointly organised by Singapore’s Centre for Liveable Cities and Urban Redevelopment Authority, WCS is typically held every two years in Singapore.
The Asia Infrastructure Forum (AIF) will be jointly held with WCS from 31st July to 3rd August 2022 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Organised by Ministry of Finance Singapore, Enterprise Singapore, Monetary Authority of Singapore and Infrastructure Asia, the AIF is the foremost platform for infrastructure players and thought leaders to discuss current regional infrastructure needs and potential approaches to address areas such as the future state of infrastructure, sustainable investment and financing, and how technology and innovation can help to enable more sustainable infrastructure. By promoting knowledge exchange and facilitating discussions across sectors and countries, this partnership aims to enable cross-pollination of ideas on themes such as sustainability for the future.
WCS and AIF 2022 look forward to welcoming partners and participants from across the world, subject to the prevailing safe management measures. We hope that the later date will enable more delegates to join us in person.
